About Us
At Caring for Carers (C4C), we are ordinary people called by God to serve His workers—pastors, their families, and other vulnerable groups in the Church. We understand the importance of supporting pastors in their unique and often challenging roles. Our vision is to empower churches to fulfill their biblical mandate to care for their pastors. However, we recognize that many churches lack the knowledge, resources, and structures to prioritize the well-being of their leaders. That’s where we come in.
Our mission is to bridge the gap, ensuring pastors and their families receive the care, support, and encouragement they need. By doing so, we enable pastors to focus on their ministry with confidence, expanding their reach into underserved communities without fear of personal struggles hindering their work.
Our Story
Through our mentorship sessions with pastors, we’ve seen firsthand the struggles many of them face, both in ministry and in their personal lives. These experiences have solidified our belief in the need for a program dedicated to pastors' well-being.
Over three years ago, God impressed upon me the vision for Caring for Carers (C4C)—a place where pastors could feel safe to be open about the challenges they encounter. This vision was birthed during a particularly difficult time in my life when I lost my job and supported my husband in his project. It was during this time of personal loss and growth that God revived this calling in me.
After a year of healing and preparation, C4C was conceived as a Christian non-profit organization. God used the challenging experiences within the church to prepare me for this mission. Though the road has not always been easy, I firmly believe that through pain comes purpose.
C4C’s mission is to support churches in meeting the basic needs of their pastors and other vulnerable groups in the church. We aim to equip pastors with the tools they need to thrive spiritually, emotionally, and financially. Our services include:
- Provide financial support: Helping churches meet the basic needs of their pastors and pastoral families.
- Training and development:training church committees of the biblical mandate and how best to execute it. Training and mentoring pastors on theological principles.
- Ministry Education: Offering a school of ministry for those who have not received formal theological training.
- Income-Generating Programs: Assisting pastors' families in establishing income-generating activities to sustain their livelihoods.
- Counseling and Coaching: Offering both on-site and virtual counseling and coaching for pastors, their families, church leaders and church members.
We are continuously refining our programs to ensure we are meeting the evolving needs of pastors and their families. Through this, we aim to help them thrive in their calling, ensuring they can continue to serve with joy, strength, and purpose.
